Water Clarity: 2-3 feet My friend, Daniel, his son Austin, and my daughter went to West Point on Saturday. We had quite an adventure. We nearly hit a deer on the way to the ramp. We had a blow out on my boat trailer about a mile from the ramp. We spent half the morning trying to catch some bait. We managed to catch some bait only to kill most of them when the aerator, unbeknowest to us, became clogged. However, we got the aerator unclogged and headed north to Franklin by about 12:30. Spent the rest of the afternoon up the river and caught a mixed bag of hybrids, whites and spotted bass on live and dead shad. We probably caught 40+ fish. If you were near Franklin and you heard a 10 year old boy or a 11 year old girl's voice yelling "get the net"..."I've got one"..."help me dad"...that was our boat.
