Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater Wednesday Report. The striper fishing remains good. Many methods are working depending on the weather. Freelined bluebacks, Redfins, and jerk baits will produce a mix of stripers and spots on main lake and secondary points and humps. The northend and southend are about equal right now. There are fish up both rivers above the shallow water signs as well. Umbrella rigs are working very well. Pull, loaded 3 arm, Capt. Macks rigs 100-110 feet out at 3.0 mph. You will get most of your trolling bites while pulling over points with your boat in 20-25 feet of water. Downlines fished 20 feet deep will also work. The fish are scattered all over the lake. Since our last report, our boats have caught fish in the backs of creeks, on main lake points and reef poles, and around marinas. If you pull freelines and cast Redfins, try to hit as many points as possible. The same goes for pulling u-rigs. Overall, the striper fishing is good. Many things are working, u-rigs are producing the best numbers, while freelines and Redfins will produce bigger fish. This report is brought to you by Capt.
