Date Fished: 4/30/2007 Water Temperature: 69 It’s been a pretty good week on the water, we had some days with some real big fish, some with some good numbers, and it has seemed to slow toward Sunday as we failed to get a bite in a short afternoon trip. All in all we had a lot of fun and caught some fair numbers of fish. I noticed the bite got tougher for the Pro’s Saturday, and Sunday was probably even tougher. Most the big fish came this week on “Punisher’s Flame Spinner Bait,” and the numbers came on soft plastic baits. The fish seemed to be spread out most of the week, we caught them shallow, in mid range depth and deep all weeklong. I spent most of the week in the mid to upper part of the lake, fished several days and saw many smiles from some great customers. We should over the next few weeks start seeing the top water bite come back strong and that is always exciting. The grass is hitting the top in some parts of the lake that should also add to the bite.
