Water Clarity: 2-3 feet Fished Eastfork Lake for the first time of the year Sunday and boy oh boy was it tough. We started out at about 1 pm and fished till dark and caught only 8-10 fish and not 1 over the 15 inch limit and all the other guys we talked to said it was tough also but saturday it took 17 lbs to win the tournament so must have just been an off day. We caught our fish on spinnerbaits a couple on a black\blue salt craw one or two on a baby 1-minus and a couple on a finesse worm. I believe we could have at least caught a few more fish on the shakey heads but we didn't bring them with us didn't figure water temp like this we would need them figured they would be active but we were wrong all we had was our baitcasters and it's kinda hard to throw 1/8 ounce heads and a finesse worm on 15 lb line on a baitcaster so we didn't do it much. All and all a tough day. We threw deep divers, spinnerbaits, small shallow divers I couldn't even get bit on my rick clunn 1.5 shhheewwww now for me that's tough I always get bit on that bait a couple times a day. I threw 3 different colors of jigs no production with it either. Hopefully next time will be better my dad and I are off again tomorrow we took a rest today cause I fished a tournament saturday and i wanted a day off of fishing we are off to newton lake tomorrow there's a front moving in tomorrow night hopefully they will bite there.
