Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater Fished a local lake around Portage, PA for a few hours on Sunday. Caught a total of 11 bass in a few hours. First trip out of the year and it felt good to set the hook!!! The bass were where you expected them to be this time of year and at one point, caught 4 bass in 4 casts. They were literally stacked at one point. There was a guy fishing for crappie and he just couldn't believe there were bass like that in there. All bass were very healthy and 9 of the 11 were all in the 15-17 inch range. Had one about 13" and a dink about 10". Good luck and hope you get out and tear em up!
