Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater Fished a tournament with old friends and some new, water was clear and cold, warmest part of lake got up to almost 50 by the end of the day, north end cove produced a good bag of largemouth, almost 14lbs, well others pounded out a few small bags of smallies. Blades and rattletraps were the lures of choice. The winner of the tournament brought in over 20lbs of smallies, an impressive catch, on the now defunct silver buddy. I saw plenty of fish shallow, had many a chaser but only could get one smallmouth to take a bait. weather was a mix of sun/clouds and a few small rain showers and about 55 degrees.
