Better than Christmas. The spawn has begun at Pueblo. Fished Friday and Saturday and caught both good numbers and quality. Lots of beds in Shiprock Coves and North Marina Cove. Using a Giggy Head tipped with finesse worms caught a ton of kentuckies and smallmouth by blind casting to 45 degree banks in about 5-10 feet of water. Mostly buck bass when blind casting, but I did cathc a 5' 3" largemouth in Shiprock. That's my largest Colorado bass since moving here 3 years ago. Off the beds, I caught several 2-3 pound Kentuckies and LM with a combination of senkos, brush hogs, and grubs. I'll be visiting Pueblo next weekend to see what other coves are hot for beds.
