We Just returned from a 4 day trip to Lake Comedero. Fishing was great to say the least, 16 people averaged at least 50 bass per day with many being over 7 pounds. The largest was a 12 pounder caught on Friday. Two guys in the group really got into giant bass on Thursday afternoon catching 17 bass over 7 pounds, many over 9 pounds and at least 2 over 11 pounds. Dont believe me?? Look up lake comedero reports on the ronspeed.com web site. Camp directors are looking into information that this may be some sort of world record for the largest number of big bass caught in one half day. The trip to and from the camp is quite exciting too, rough dirt roads the entire way, down the mountain pass and back up again, steep clifts on both sides of the road in a bus that looked to be 20 yers old. The food and service at the camp was excellant as was the fishing.
