  Subject: Lake Lanier, Georgia

Submitted by Tom Mann Jr., Lake Lanier Guide Service

Date Fished: 5/7/2007
Water Clarity: Not reported

On the lake today from 10 am until 3:30 pm. The first two hours fishing was real slow, wind blew about 15 to 20 mph. Threw a 1/2 oz. War Eagle Spinnerbait while the wind was up and caught 7 or 8 but no big ones. The wind quit around noon and the fish starting biting but still wouldn't chase anything. They were stuck to the bottom so we had to fish a worm. Caught about 15 on a green pumpkin cuttail worm on a 1/4 oz. Spot Remover in about 20 to 25 feet of water. Have another trip tomorrow...will post again then.
