Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater Had a good day fishing the quab on may 12. The smallies are starting to bed up. We landed about 25 to 30 fish. Some in the 3 to 4 pound range. Had good luck fishing deep points with a rapala minnow rap and carolina rigging all types of rubber. The rapala runs 8 to 15 feet deep and you could see the smallies coming up after it. We're going back saturday. It's going to rain. I was hoping someone might have some tips on fishing the quab in the rain. I have only fished it on nice days.
