Water Clarity: 1 foot Fished the Ohio River, launched out of Harris Riverfront park. I caught 9 total, 6 of which were nice keepers in the 1.5lb range and the others were pushing 12 inches. I didn't catch one fish on the main river at all. I caught all of my fish in the mouths of creeks and the first 75 yards into the creek.
I caught all my fish on buzzbaits, home-made crankbaits (small shad pattern I designed just for the river) and small jigs. The fish really suprised me as to how healthy and strong they were. All of them were chunky and clean. There is fry everywhere so Im sure this has alot to do with how fat the fish were. Tight lines, Ken.
