Submitted by Rob S (ip 68.217.58.195)

Date Fished: 6/9/2007
Water Temperature: 78
Water Clarity: 0

Put in at 2:30am, fished the islands just out of Balus. Freelines, threw spooks, redfins and bombers with no luck, tried the downline mid morning and pulled up a big catfish. Caught a 2 spots on a pointer 78 and 1 on a rattletrap.

About the same as last week with more spots. I keep hearing stories and reports of stripers, but for some reason I can't seen to get on the fish or something. Should have switched over to u-rigs.

Pulled out at 2:00 in the afternoon Saturday, should have left earlier, wind, rough water and lot of boat traffic.
