Got a late start as boat launch didn't open till 11:00 am. Water was like glass till about 1:00 when 75 retarded Weare residents decided "this" was the perfect time to repeatedly do doughnuts while towing screaming kids left over from the special olympics who hadn't buckled their seat belts on their inner-tubes. What a treat. Oh yeah, then there was the fat shirtless guy in his ski-nautique, he wasn't pullng any water skiiers, but just liked to do hole shots. 50 feet from us! Thanks again! Aside from that, we caught a live well full of fish, albeit a bunch of dinks with the biggest being a 2.15 LM. Lowrance was marking schools and schools of fish at 8-10 feet but I did not set up a drop-shot pole this am and said "not today". Everything we hit was in 1-2 feet of water. Chris, we HAVE to hit this on a weekday, this place has all the potential for some BIG LM. I didn't go into places I should have (wife gets scared).

Waited 20 min. for "Joe boater" to yank his 14' bowrider out of the water and get ready for transport in the lane, not a prob. we got all day.

Makes me ashamed I live in Weare.
