well capt. thanks for the info.

fri.- hit turner and fished small backwater cove before main part of river. had 4 largemouth 2-3lbs. could not find clear exit to main part of river and did not want to get lost so i left and went to berry pond.

fished long laydown grasses at berry and got 10-15 large and 2 smallies. largemouth were all 2-3 lbs and the smallies were 1-2.

sat.- hit drove down to sebago area to hit hancock/walden ponds. motored over in canoe and thru sand bar to fish walden first. my buddy and i had 8-10 largemouth each @ 2-3 lbs each. came back and fished hancock. kept getting cut off by inconsiderate boaters. one guy cut thru bouys and in front of us and banged his prop a few times... and another looked like guide came in and cut in front of us with in 30 ft. still managed a few smallies.

sun.-fished tourny on andro lake. winning weight was 28.48 our weight was 24.16. good enuff for 11th place. just out of payout. not bad for not prefishing and fishing it blind for a couple of mass wholes. no fish was las than 12 inches most were 16plus. we each had around 10 fish each with my biggest weighing in at 4.76lb. big fish for tourny was only 5.61lbs. i think that this was a low weight for this tourny. but still an incredible fishery with a ton of fish in the 2-3 lb range. the state was there to do there yearly survey. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE THEY POST THAT INFO?

mon.- went back to turner and put in on main part of river. headed up stream and found 6-8 spots that were holding smallies. not set up for it too well, managed a bunch of fish at each location. only made it as far as the seaplane docking on the left as you go up. but found most if not all the rocky shoals between there and the ramp. i need to come out with gps and mark off river and rock piles for safer boating. not bad in canoe until wind picked up. largest smallie was 2.5-3 lbs. had close to 20-25 fish, although most were less than 12 inches.

for the weekend i guesstimate i had close to 50-60 fish.

thanks again, and i will be back to the river to try again. Very Happy
