Date Fished: 7/11/2007 Fished yesterday with a buddy of mine and his 9 yr old daughter until about noon. Caught 2 keeper lm. Water is finally beginning to be drawn down(about 2 ft), but still alot better than last year. I managed about 25 or so total with alot in the 14" range. Fish are very active and fat. Caught them early on texas rigged Watermellon and red baby brush hog with 3/8 weight. Most fish have moved out from the shallow (butt end) and are moving towards the deeper water. Later, caught almost all on wacky worm rig with 1/32 oz weight. All in all a good day except for the "what time is it?" every 10 minutes that started at about 6:30. Glad she and her dad could have a day together though! I just ran the TM and caught fish. Tight lines! Proab. gonna try and go down next Mon-Tues to Walsenburg.
