Water Clarity: 0

Got on the water at 5am. fished until 11:00. Got 5 fish. We started out slow. the early morning hours produced nothing. Around 10:00am we noticed large groups of baitfish making a commotion on the surface off the big point in about 10 feet. Suspecting some bass may be forcing them up, we headed over and within 5 mins boated (2) 4.5 to 5lb fish on white double tail culprit and pumpkin-seed creature bait. Nice healthy looking bass. First time on Sampson. About ten boats out, everyone seemed to be getting fish.
