Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater I stayed up at Patoka on vacation for the past week, and I fished everyday. The bite wasn't fantastic, but nearly every hit produced a decent keeper. The weeds produced more fr me than deep channels, but I'm sure others will argue that. For those of you fishing with FOM this weekend I would certainly take the time to idle into the Patoka Lake Marina. If you pull up on the left side of the gas pumps there is a grass flat to the left of that. It goes up under the far left boat dock. We caught a number of good solid 3 lb fish there. I also had a few good fish across the lake from there around the main point. I was slowly bringing a crknbait out of the weeds and picking up speed as it neared the edge. Every hit came right when I began cranking it fast. Good luck this weekend. My guess is 16 pounds 7 ounces :-)
