Water Clarity: 2-3 feet Fished the russian river for 10 days starting 15 of july until the 25
I would fish for about 2 hours in the afternoon most of the days and then maybe 30-45 minutes at dust went night fishing twice caught nothing and only got one bite. Used a weightless senko on a 7ft UL st. croix rod. I caught 25 bass all smallmouth cept for a little lm
most of the fish were in the 5-8 in range (but still fun) but 5 were
I skinny 9 incher then a fat 13 incher a 12 incher that had a belly another 13 incher but this one was ver dark and then i caught a massive 15 incher at around 2 lbs i am from virginia but go to the river once a year for a family reunion so i know that a 2 pounder is a very big fish for this river.I porbably could have caught many more fish if i had fished in the mornings and alot more time fishing in the late evenings but i was hanging out with local friends and family .people that live in sonoma county are Very fortunate to such a boutiful river right there where it is impossible to get skunked and also lake sonoma close by. I had a great time but probably be heading to lake shasta next year
