We are normally closed during the rainy season but this season we have had a couple of groups. I just returned from the Lodge with a group of 4 Amigos from Texas. Big, Big rains and Lake Baccarac is coming very up very nicely . The fishing could not have been any better with the fish very shallow because of the rising water. Crazy Joe Dillard fished with me the fish day and caught a 16.1 whose picture is already postd at the Lodge. The monster fish was caught in Sonny's cove in very shallow water. During the heavy, heavy rain the fish feed on the surafce. Tom Secrest caught a 15.2 fishing with Juan in the same cove. Dalton caught 4 fish over 9 near the Damn and Dee caught one over 10 and one over 11. These fish where caught the first day at the Lodge during the rain. The second day was also very good with tons of big fish. I rate the fishing right now as excellent. We are working hard getting the Lodge ready for the regular season kick off.
