Water Clarity: 0 Since nobody posts for Y'ville anymore I'll put one on here.
Fished from 6am-2pm today, nice day mostly overcast early then partly cloudy later. Cought 2 early topwater(1 on skitter pop,1 on white zoom horny toad)both were small(9 and 11 inches),a little ways up from litte blaine creek fishing in back of cove with a few stickups on a point. Went for about 4 hours after with nothing, threw everything. Pulled up to the stickups at the backside of carter island about noon and tied on a bluegill pattern medium dive crank(6-8ft) and hang on! Caught 5 fish within 15 min., smallest was a 12 incher, largest was 16 1/2. Then the sun came out and it was like you turned the switch off. Fished a little on the way back to the marina with no luck. All and all a good day on the lake for august. Sure beats the last couple of weeks.
