Well! leave it to our wonderful DNR, again they have screwed up another wonderful bass resource lake. We tried to fish waveland Friday, The DNR had sprayed for weeds on Wednesday, there were so many dead fish we could not make a cast without bringing in one of the dead ones, millions of bass, bluegill, catfish, drum and shad were floating in the lake, the smell was overwhelming, terrible at the lake site and still noticeable at the gate about 3/4 of a mile away. No part of the lake was clear of dead fish. The trailer of my boat rolled over and smashed many dead fish bodies at the ramp. Thanks again DNR you did it again for the second year in a row.
