Water Clarity: 0 Bayou Benoit Landing was the launch site for the ANGLERS OF CHRIST BASS CLUB'S 8th tournament of the year. Rains from Hurricane Humberto changed the conditions for the day with heavy stained to stained waters on tap. The duo of Randy and Chance Angelle managed to bring in 5 keepers out of a 6 fish limit for a total weight of 10.97 lbs to take 1st place. David Zabolio and Joe Phillips took 2nd with 3 fish at 5.38 lbs. Mark Angelle and Lawrence Brunet snagged 3 fish as well for 4.07 lbs and a third place finish. Individually, Randy Angelle's 6.67 lbs took 1st, Chance Angelle took 2nd with 4.28 lbs and Mark Angelle took 3rd with 4.07 lbs. Randy's 2.57 lb fish took Big Fish for the day. AOFC is headed to Sam Rayburn on Oct. 19th and 20th followed by the last stop of the year at Amelia. Larry Fadaol's 46.68 lbs leads the way for Angler of the Year, following close behind is Raymond Mahfouz with 43.02 lbs, Mark Angelle's 42.50 lbs completes the top three spots.
