Subject: Cagles Mill(Cataract), Indiana Submitted by Indy
Date Fished: 9/25/2007 Fished tues.7am-2. Took the "Old Green Boat",and my Dad out fishin. Got to the ramp at 7am,only ones there,and it`s still dark! Fished out of the park,so first stop, was over towads the damn. Now I had decided if we start early,we could beat the rain that was to get here after noon,hadn`t fished 30 min. when we got hit with the first of many showers, Did manage to catch 3 bass{1 on in-line buzz)(2 on a lipless crank bait)biggest was 2 lbs.,caught on buzz. Dad managed to catch 2 bass on a spinner bait,plus a Walleye (24-25")(scales bonced between 5-12 an 5-14) Sure did make his day,and mine to! All said, I was surprised to find the water temp still that high. Water color of lake was a nice blue/green,and I guess you coul seen down couple of feet, Gettin ready to take Wife to Monroe For a few days of fishin. Sure hope the grass is up,she LOVES Frogs! Steve
