Water Clarity: 1 foot I had a friend from Kentucky come up to fish Burnsville Lake this past weekend. We fished Friday evening, with little to no success. We only boated one samll bass on a Chartreuse Shad crankbait, and had 2 other small fish get off at the boat on a Junebug lizard.
On Saturday morning we fished the upper end of the lake, from the falls to Bulltown campground. We only caught 2 fish, with the biggest at 17 inches and 2.4 pounds. Both fish were caught on finess baits, the big fish on a Junebug lizard, and the other on a blue fleck Shakey worm.
Overall, a hot but beautiful weekend to fish.
