Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater Fished around FFB marina Sat morning for a couple hours because Dad's boat was having problems and managed a few short fish on topwater around the tires, then we pulled the boat out and found that it was just a split in the fuel line so got that fixed and went back out Sat afternoon. Hybrids were up in Higden and we probably caught 30 or so on spook jr but they were all 2-2 1/2 lbs so we left them looking for bigger fish and struck out. Saturday morning we went back to the marina and not much going on just boated 3 fish and decided to try Higden again but nothing comming up there. By about 2 hrs after daylight we went to hill creek and fished jerkbaits, topwater, worms and nothing but a couple of dinks then went WAY back in the back of Devils Fork and managed to scratch out a limit of keepers. 13 1/2" spot, 14 1/2" spot, two 15 1/2" LM and a 18" LM all on war eagle spinner...think color is called "spot remover" all fish were on banks wind was blowing into and had timber and rocks 10-12 ft of water. Didn't think they would be in back of creek but since we had tried everywhere else we went and was glad we did. All day Sun we probably only caught 20 fish or so.
