Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater Fished Sat. & Sun. and only caught two. Couldn't find any groups of bass. Tried wind blown main lake points, deep coves, shallow coves, small coves off river channel / main lake, docks, etc. The only thing we didn't try was underwater structure or cuts in the main lake.
The spinnerbait bite still seems to be productive but not as much as I'd like for crankbaits. I think smaller jerkbaits fished really slow should be good over deep water with suspended bass.
The fish seemed to have disappeared over the last two weeks. Fished the Hickory Creek area, War Eagle River, & Beaver Shores area. Never could locate a group of bass. When I did find any, they had lockjaw. Hook Line & Sinker baitshop said the bite is really slow and everyone is suffering the water temp. drop.
Anyone know of which end of the lake to fish?
