Water Clarity: 2-3 feet Fished Thursday,Friday and Saturday with John D. with mixed results. We managed 18,14 and 10 keeper sized fish in that order with most being caught on C-rigs in the main river. Caught a few on cranks and a few on 1/2oz. spinner bait just off the river but very little shad activity was seen anywhere but the main river. Biggest fish we caught was about 3 pounds with several healthy spots over 2 but nothing big. Water temps ranged from 53 in the back of creeks to a hi of 60 in the main river with excellent water clarity. Water levels were as low as I have seen in the 25+ years that I have been making trips up there but launching was not a problem at Portland Access as long as you were very careful since the ramp was in bad shape that far out. Considering the conditions not one of our best trips but its always fun.
