Date Fished: 12/10/2007

Water Temperature: 52
Water Clarity: 1 foot

The north end is stained, and water temp has risen a few degrees since Friday. I pulled big baits around for about 4 hours without a bite. Decided it was time to change tactics, so anchored up in about 12 feet of water right beside the main channel and threw out some cut-bait on the bottom. Landed 4 fish in about an hour and then had to leave. 2 were stripers in the 12-16 lb range and 2 were channel cats that were probably 3-6 lbers. I really did not intend to bottom fish today, but if you know there are fish there, and you aren't getting bit, you have to try something different. Tight Lines. Dirk
