Water Temperature: 50+
Water Clarity: 2-3 feet Fished Warrior today out of HOWTON'S (MAN WHAT A LAUNCH AND THEY CHARGE FOR THAT?). Caught six fish; they were scattered and we caught em on everything. Spinnerbaits seemed to work best, but Jerkbaits and finesse worms produced some nice bass too.
Found 52 Degree water in the Little Warrior and caught some fish there. Then we went up the big river past Lost Creek (toward the steam plant). We found water up there around 70 degrees, but the warmer the water the more boats we saw. I think the fishing pressure is really strong up there for this time of year. I am sure the fish ought to bite in that warmer water, but we had no keepers in the 65+ water. WOW, what diverse conditions from one end of an impoundment to the other; not only the water temp. changed, but the clarity was about 6 inches in the little river and about two feet above Lost Creek on the big river.
