Date Fished: 2/10/2008 The fishing this past week has been good somedays and great others. This is normal when the spawn is really going.Shiners have been the most productive for the big fish and artificals have been on and off.On days that you catch the weather right we have been catching 15 to 25 fish on artificals on days the wind is strong out of the north it has been tough with artificals but the shiner bite is UNREAL.Yesterday I guided Jim Cox SR and JR for a fullday on the river this was a shiner trip and it was steady action all day with a total fish count around 25 it did take us six doz large wild shiners to catch 25 fish as many of the fish just killed the shiner after crashing it on top.This was 5 lber day as I lost count of the number of 5 lbs caught. I am having a hard time getting the picture of yesterdays trip down loaded but will post a picture with next report.
