  Subject: Susky, Brunner Island, Pennsylvania

Submitted by Hickory (ip 69.248.244.167)

Date Fished: 2/19/2008
Water Temperature: 80
Water Clarity: 1 foot

Fished about 1 and half hours next to the outlet. 3 walleye up to 19" on rapala. Almost lost a rod to the river when a catfish pulled away on my baited "lazy" rod-- had to jump in and get wet and just barely grabbed it in time. A fisherman next to me caught two very nice smallies, probably 20+ inches. Lots of jumping fish, baitfish being chased, and other big fish (carp? Stripers?) with their backs and fins coming out.
