Water Clarity: 0 The CFBA (Christian Fellowship of Bass Anglers) based out of Lafayette kicked off their season opener in amelia on feb 16th. The team of Tony Kemp and Shawn McGraw came in 1st with a nice 13.58 pound stringer, fishing in canals north of the landing, Second place went to David Beasley fishing solo with 4 fish that weighed a whopping 13.36 # with about a 15 mile ride from the landing.Third place went to Bob David and Travis Stelly with a 5 fish stringer for 8.79 #. A total of 11 teams fished the event with a total of 22 fish weighed in.
The CFBA is a non denominational Christian fishing club that meets the first tuesday of the month at Crossroads Assembly in Lafayette.
