Water Clarity: 2-3 feet Six of us fished Guerrero from 2/18 - 2/21. Average # caught per day was in high teens or low 20's, which was slow compared to previous trips we've made. Most fish were caught flipping newly flooded brush with Brush Hogs/Lizards. My fishing partner did manage to get a 11 lb. 4 oz fish the first day, but most averaged 2 lbs or less...with maybe a half dozen in the 4-6 lb. range for 4 days fishing. We stayed at Ron Castille's Hacienda Santa Fe Lodge on the west side of the lake (Purificacion River), and lodging and facilities were excellent. We've stayed both here and at Big Bass on previous trips, and highly recommend both.
