Water Clarity: 0 I found Green very uncooperative this weekend. Fished Saturday with not a bite to show for my efforts. Went out Sunday for a few hours only to endure the same. I tried traps mostly, but also threw a crankbait quite a bit. Threw a jig some and a jerkbait some, but couldn't get anything at all going. The water was stained and the wind seemed to blow in my face regardless of where I went.
I fished bluff walls & big coves 1/2 way back on each side. Hope others did better than I did. I'm not very good in stained water becuase I haven't fished it enough to have much confidence and I'm not patient enough to fish cold water correctly. I guess that's why I didn't get any bites in two trips this weekend!
Am going to hit Barren and Barkley in a few weeks, hoping they won't be nearly as tough.
