Date Fished: 4/7/2008 This report is for Monday 4-7-08. Had an open day today so I got on the water about 1, and spent the afternoon covering new water ,checking to see where all they`ve moved in. The bass didn`t seem to be as grouped up as they have been.The bite was still good but I had to cover a lot more water than I have been.I ended up catching 17 fish with the biggest being 5 lbs and best 5 about 18-19 lbs. All fish caught on soft plastics in the shallow grass flats 1-3ft. If you like fishing soft plastics, with a chance to do alittle sight fishing (depending on the weather), now is a great time to schedule a trip to Guntersville.The numbers and the quality are good.
