Water Clarity: 2-3 feet Put in at Bear Run launch with Culprit at noon on Saturday. Fished until 4pm. We ended up with 3 fish. While working a creek mouth back by the campground, Culprit was using his new Aruku Shad and foul hooked a couple of large shad. Sensing that would be the bait fish I switched over to a Rapala shad rap shallow runner in shad color. While slowly bumping the bottom in 2-3 ft of water I hooked a nice striper, who immediately headed for deeper water. After a nice little fight we got him in the boat. We didnt get a ruler or scale on him but estimated him between 7-8lb and 23" or so inches. He was fat and solid. We tried unsuccessfully to repeat but the wind just got to be too much.
