Water Clarity: 1 foot 4/11- Prefished for the BFL with a buddy. We beat around bushes and flooded timber all day. Picked up a few fish on texas rigged plastics. Never got bit on a spinnerbait.
4/12- Took off 17th, we ran to an area with some bushes and brush. Boater had a fish on within his first few casts with a spinnerbait. He caught #2 not long after. I caught a small keeper on a lizard. Boater caught 2 more, one on a blade and one flipping. I picked up my second fish, got wrapped up in a limb but we got him. Left out of there and ran back into little Nutbush. I caught my third keeper and we caught several shorts. We went fishless for a while. Boater finally got bit, solid 3 lber. I got a 3-4 lb fish in the last 30 mins. Ended the day in 34th place with 9-07 and missed a check by 1 oz. Tight Lines
