Water Temperature: 49
Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater Fished deep. Fished slow. Fished points. Fished soft, hard, small, medium, light, heavy. Fished different colors. I knew it was too early and just wanted to get the boat out and did not feel like fighting at Pueblo or Chatfield.
In this little pond there were over 20 boats and at least as many floaters and canoers. Stacked shoulder to shoulder along the bank. Lake is up, water is still cold. God just above 50 by the time I left @ 1:45. Did manage to find some green grass down deep (15-18') but fish are not feeding and moving up yet. Supposed to be warm this week so I'll try again in about 2 if it stays warm. I really expected water temps to be a little higher, but knew I'd be lucky to get a hit.
