I'm reporting for Saturday, working this factory job I only have so much time to steal away to post a fishing report. Rotating shifts suk sometimes when you want to fish.

A buddy and I (not Kernel Buddy) fished Jones Creek. We could stay out of the wind a little there anyway. We threw mostly the 3/8oz War Eagle spinnerbaits. We caught 11 fish, all about on the banks around the new grass. A few bit in the pad stems. We had one that went 5.6790341 pounds. That's 7.3 on the Spinnerbait kid scale. About 8.6 on the FLGGS scale. (Fullamore Lies Gonna Get Summorecash). Wasn't that a merc in the cutoff pic the day you caught 30? If your clients caught 30, howcome no pics of them?? I don't get it, but that's why I'm not a guide. Anyway, I'm ready for the warm weather to get back, been too many cold days this year.

We did catch a couple on the old Royal Shad Super Spot. Hey T-Roy, I noticed you retired the spot for the XR-50. You should have named that color the Royal Shaft, sounds like that's about all you got out of it. Bummer dude, at least you made a purdy color for them to rob.

Oooo, Jimmy, nice smallies man. Reminds me of my home lake.

Speaking of Kernel Buddy Golden, OMG! Nice pic in the B'ham paper. My pal Lacon Luie sent me a scanned copy. Mr Bolton... Dude! You must be starvin for a story there man! (Not starvin for food of course). Of all of the real guides out there you had to fan this pozers fire. You get a free case of Kernel Buddy Golden's secret doughball recepie or somthin? Wow!
