Date Fished: 4/16/2008
Water Temperature: 45
Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater

Hi all,

First trip of the year. Water temp ranged from 42 degrees up to 49 degrees. I caught three, about a pound each. Two on five inch straight tailed worms with an 1/8 oz weight and the last on a jerk bait.

All fish came off shallow docks or wood on wind swept shorelines. Had to fish slow. Almost deadsticked the worm and the cadence on the jerk was a slow pull with a long pause. All strikes came on the pause.

Tight lines all.
