Water Clarity: 2-3 feet Got off again today with my son Michael to fish the river below Ft.Loudon dam. It was crammed with pole and bobber folks. We did a little better than last week on Tellico. Today we boated 29assorted fish. Best was a 4+ and 3lb smallie and one spotted bass that would have weighed around 2.5lbs which is good for the river. We caught 4 sauger that weighed around 4lbs each. Big ugly things and one of them set a DD-22 treble all the way through my index finger during a hook removal from the fish and a hook set in me. Luckily it went ALL the way through and was able to cut it with some snips. Ouch!!! We caught a good number of small spots and largemouth and a bunch of big scrappy white bass. Nice day on the water with my son. Like last week fish came on an assortment of lures-jerkbaits, lipless cranks, DD-22's, shakey head, fish-head spin, and some today on the spinnerbait. Would probably have caught more but they turned the water off early and if you fish the river you know the bite runs with the current so we called it a day at 5pm. Tight lines, Ron
