Water Temperature: 70
Water Clarity: 2-3 feet Water temperatures have warmed to the low 70's in some areas and with the full moon, things are happening. We find many patterns to be working. Fallen wood in creeks, bays and along the main river have bass that respond to a slowly fished plastic crawfish imitator like Berkleys Mud Critter in pumpkin green. Grasses in creeks, bays and
main river flats show good numbers of bass that like Strike Kings Redeye or other lipless rattle baits in chrome/blue or red/chartreuse as well as the plastic crawfish imitators. The rattle baits produced bass up to 6.5 pounds for us this week. Creek bays with gravel banks and submersed grasses near the shore also have bass that like soft stick baits, plastic craws and hard jerk baits. White spinnerbaits, slow rolled through the grasses, also caught bass.
