Water Clarity: 2-3 feet Fishing was tough today due to the frontal passage and early morning rain. The bass would not chase anything, but I found a pattern that worked for a few with the biggest two at 5-9 and 3-13. I used a Rapala DT-6 (silver shad) and cranked it down and let it suspend. Then I slow rolled, moving the bait only about a foot and let it suspend again. The bass would hit when it started moving again. I've also been successful with this pattern for large bass using Lehr speed traps 1/4 oz chartruse right after a strong cold front. They won't chase but can't seem to stand the slow wiggle right in front of their nose.
