Water Clarity: 0 Was more than happy to accept an invitation from an old friend to fish the Stick Marsh today. John P and I hit the water about 8 am. We started in the back lot and hit a few there. The wind that was supposed to be from the east was coming from the north so we ran to the nw area of the stick marsh. We hit some in there but it was slow. The wind finally came from the e/se so we took advantage and hit the south end of the farm. We hit 3 on the first several casts and thought we were in heaven. It slowed from there but was consistent till about 4 when the whitecaps made us decide to leave. All in all we did good according to the creel counter. We managed 23 to the boat with the biggest at 6.25. The next closest at that time was 15. There was one 8 pounder reported. Plenty of fish in here and they are willing to play!! Most came on swim senkos but I had a some on a bomber long A and John scored with a rattle trap (he has a unique way of “remanufacturing” them to maximize his efforts…pretty neat). It was a good day with good company. Have fun out there and enjoy!!
