Water Clarity: 0 Got out early as usual. Can't stand waiting at the ramp so i usually launch in the dark. Started at daybreak on a strike King Red Eye shad in sexy shad color.Got 4-5 within first 40 minutes, one about 3 1/2. Then started with the worm and picked a few more on shallow points. Finally started throwing Basstrix swimbait about 9:30 or so .I had so many follows and connected with about 7 good keepers.Two between 3-4 and one little over 4. Those things are amazing. You can get to an area and fish through it and not see much,but you throw these and the fish come out of nowhere. You'll miss a bunch from the small fish but the big ones will almost take the rod out of your hands. Cant wait to try them in may and June. Good Luck !!!
