Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater Culprit and I put in at 8am and fished until 1215 before the lightning storm chased us off. We caught more bass than we could count. Senko's and Tikis on windblown points and shorelines were taking the early bass but 4 different types of cranks and stick baits were working too. Nothing larger than 15" / 1.75lbs, all small males in pre-spawn mode. The big females were just not around. If I had to guess at the number of fish between us it would probably have been 30+ between both of us. On the way home we stopped at a farm pond that gets zero pressure and caught at least 40 more 9-13" fish on everything we threw. I was tired of fishing if you can believe that!
