Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater After a disappointing trip prior to the full moon on Thursday 4/17 where we didn't even take a strike, I decided I had to go back and give it another try especially after seeing the BFL results from 4/19. So I headed back up there on Saturday 4/26. From the previous trip I knew they didn't want much to do with spinnerbait or crankbait in Big Cr, Josiah Cr. or Minton Hlr, I decided to start out on the opposite side of the like in the Browns Bottom area with a split shot rigged finesse worm. Started about 8:45 and had 4 nice keepers (3 sm, 1 lm) by 11:30 with a couple of slicks on the side. All were in 4 ft or less near dead wood or chunk rock. The sun came out and things slowed down around 12:00 when I decided to try my luck across the lake again without much success. Then the wind got up about 3:00 making it hard to fish the worm. Managed a couple of more slicks and another 4lb keeper in Fishdam Cr. Ended the day with a 15 lb limit and 11 fish total. Probably should have stayed in Brown's Bottom even with the wind and several boats.
