Water Clarity: 2-3 feet Fished our Troy Club tournament at Jordan on Saturday. We started on a grassy pt near the ramp. Only caught one spot on a buzzbait, decided to go to some deeper fish that we found earlier in the week. 2nd cast we got a good spot on a shakey head and watermelon candy worm. Then nothing for quite a while. Made several moves and caught a keeper lm on a trickworm in the grass. Three more keepers on a Tx rig. One on a gold trap. At 1oclock we went back to the deeper point and 3rd cast caught a 3.5 spot, broke off a 5spot under the boat after a long fight, and caught another good spot. The deep fish came on a Carolina rig with a brushhog or a shakey head. They were from 10-20 feet deep. Our best five was 12.64.(7th place)
1st was 5-17.90, 2nd 5-17.40, 3rd 5-17.10 All big fish were spots. Caught in water ranging from 10-20ft. big fish was 4.83.
