Date Fished: 5/2/2008 Well, there were white caps in my diet coke can… that sums up the wind today. I saw a shad jump up in Seibold and it wound up in South Sauty. (lol). The fishing wasn’t too bad, I fished from 1pm to 7pm with a couple guys looking for tournament fish. We caught about 10 with a big fish of 5-lbs. Not a bad afternoon considering the conditions. The spinnerbait bite is as good as I’ve seen it in a long time, and the jig bite is a lot of fun. 4 to 6 feet is still the best depth range for me in terms of quality fish right now. Good luck to all the tournament guys out there tomorrow, hopefully the storms will be short lived, and all will have a safe day on the water. I have days open in the 2nd week of May.
