Water Clarity: 0 Thought it was high time I got out fishing since the only water the boat has seen since August was rain. Put in at 12:30 and the motor (Honda 4-stroke) started on first try. It was windy and the trolling motor (which I paid about $400 to fix at the end of last summer) didn't work a lick. So I tried drifting (sailing?) over points throwing C-rig/spinnerbait/sammy. Only got one hit in a wind protected area on the c-rig. After running around Chestatee Bay, I decided to take a trip to the south end. as soon as I started, the motor coughed and died. No motor, no trolling motor, no one around. Finally when the wind was about to ground me, a couple of fine fellow fishermen towed me home (1/4 mile). My first time being towed, I've towed many others. I guess that's what I get for not fishing for so long, but I blame it on the lake levels, I'm spoiled by using our Lockheed Longhollow private ramp and it just now got where I can use it.
